How to Arrive

Petrovac is almost exactly equidistant from both airports, but also because it lies in the middle of the Montenegrin coast. The distance to Tivat Airport is approximately 35-40 kilometers. A taxi ride would normally take between 45 and 60 minutes; however, during July and August when traffic becomes heavy inside Budva on its way towards Petrovac or beyond, then obviously this time increases as well.From Podgorica Airpor (about 45-50 km), driving through Sozina Tunnel (toll tunnel) under mountains very close to Petrovac without any coastal traffic jams is much faster most times less stressful drive.

For those travelers who have come to Petrovac without a car, then surely Hotel Del Mar is among the best hotels in town because just around the corner from it stands the Petrovac Bus Station- only about 3 or5 minutes walking distance. This makes arriving by public bus from Kotor, Budva, or Bar very easy and convenient since there would be no need to carry luggage across town. In case you are driving a rental car,the hotel is easyly found as it sits near the main Adriatic highway; unlike hotels located on waterfront,in lower town's narrow streets restricted for pedestrians one does not have to navigate them to reach lobby.
